  5. Hey Jeff… This blog has been an inspiration. Working with you has made me focus more on my health and spiritual well-being. Although I do not follow a traditional Christian path like many of your readers, I have seen a definite shift in consciousness as I spend more time communing with nature on hikes with my dog. It is here, in the woods and hills, that I feel closest to the divine. I also enjoyed your advice to make more love, and have felt a more powerful connection with my husband (and with myself) since taking this advice.
Your advice also speaks to my own beliefs that all acts of love and pleaure are a way to celebrate and worship the divine, and are sacred to the Goddess. Forget spinning class! I’d rather get my cardio in bed!

  6. Hi Jeff. Hoping to see more articles soon. This is so exciting. This weekend my husband and I hiked up to Forbays Lake with the dog- I thought it was going to be tough,physically- and it was a challenge- but the hard part was getting my mind motivated.
I think that many of us don’t get out and do more things like this because it takes too much effort to blast ourselves out of the ruts we’ve fallen into! My husband and I are both trying to motivate each other to be healthier. What I find is that this “baby steps” approach really works for me. Instead of changing our whole lifestyle, we’re working on making better, heatlhier choices and making small changes towards better health every day. I don’t feel guilty about what I haven’t done- I feel good when I get out and get motivated to hike or take the dog for a walk. There’s no shame about what I haven’t accomplished or where I’m at…just a little push to keep going, moving forward, and working towards better mental, physical and spiritual health slowly.

Some of us even don’t realize the importance of this information. What a pity.
